Old World Wisconsin – the nation’s largest living history museum, enables spectators to view and experience the ways of 19th century rural Wisconsin life. Stroll through Crossroads Village and ethnic farm sites to see working farmsteads with historic breeds of animals, blacksmith shop, general store and more than 50 restored structures.
The Clausing Barn Upper Loft – seats up to 175 guests in a charming octagonal barn – and Clausing Barn Restaurant – seats up to 70 guests in a casual environment with access to an intimate patio setting – both are available after the museum has closed allowing for a more private event.
Large groups looking to experience the site can rent the Norwegian Picnic Pavilion, a sheltered pavilion seating up to 400 guests. Guests can tour the museum with or with out curators providing customized, to the interest of the group, discussions of the history of the site/buildings, obtaining and moving the historic structures, collection of artifacts, vintage base ball, historic clothing and heirloom gardens/gardening. Trams are also available to assist navigating through the museum in a shorter period of time.

Rotary Building Waukesha
The 1,600 sq. ft. Rotary Building is nestled between the extensively landscaped formal gardens and the Fox River in picturesque Frame Park. The building comes equipped with tables and chairs for seating of up to 120, a podium with microphone, fireplace and offers attendees scenic views of the natural landscaped river edge! Large open areas are also available and suitable for tented events or outdoor group activities. An on-site caterer’s kitchen is available for use.

The Rotunda Historic Downtown Waukesha
By day, sunlight cascades through The Rotunda’s – originally built in 1913 as the Waukesha Post Office – beautiful stained glass skylight and onto the circular coffered dome. By night, tiered gold chandeliers create a gentle ambiance diffusing facets of warmth into every corner. Updated in 2010 The Rotunda features a grand dome, hand-painted walls and upper mezzanine, allowing for a grand view of the room seating up to 250 guests. Catered daytime and evening events are available.

Ten Chimneys Genesee Depot
Ten Chimneys – a national historic landmark previously the home of Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. Tour Ten Chimneys to become enchanted by the personal décor and private collections the Lunts assembled in the 1930-40’s. Enjoy notes from Laurence Olivier and Carol Channing, mementos from Helen Hayes and Noel Coward, first edition books by Edna Ferber and Alexander Woollcott, interactive exhibitions and nature trails.
Stunning private events can be hosted in the Lunt-Fontanne Program Center’s Lower Level Program Hall and Main Floor Lobby. The gracious 3,150 sq. ft. Program Hall boasts of reclaimed antique maple floors, theatrical lighting, vintage photos of the Lunts, floor-to-ceiling views of the grounds’ sheltering oaks accommodating 250 guests seated and 300 guests for receptions. Catered daytime and evening events are available.
The spacious 2,500 sq. ft. lobby dazzles guests with its eclectic furnishings and playful, Lunt-inspired elegance accommodating catered evening receptions of up to 150 guests. Catered evening events are available.
